Shown above Mac's Electric employee Robert Lutter checks the connection of extension telephones to a PBX at Plainsco, Inc. in Aberdeen, South Dakota which was acquired by Dakota Supply Group formerly known as Dakota Electric Supply Company in Fargo, North Dakota. New CAT3 cabling, telecommunications equipment, and Frame Relay service was installed to interconnect the telecommunications and data communications systems of the two companies. New CAT5 cabling for a Ethernet network which was connected to a IBM AS/400 was installed to allow the replacement of the terminals with PC's. The telephone system has since been upgraded to Voice over IP and the VoIP phones were connected to the CAT5 cabling system.
