In the photo above Mac's Electric employee Gary Schatz installs a wall mounted touch screen computer at Manorcare Health Services in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The installation included CAT5 cabling for the wall mounted computers in the hallways and for wireless access points in the ceilings. A 19-inch rack with patch panels, network switches, a new router with a T-1 circuit extension, and a modem on a POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) line for router access were also installed. The purpose of the project was to allow the staff to easily access computerized client information throughout the facility.
