Shown above Mac's Electric employee Gary Schatz test UTP cables to verify operation at TIA/EIA-586-B standards for structured cabling. The installation at Central High School is part of an ongoing  project to install new cabling, telecommunications, and computer networking systems in the Aberdeen School District buildings and interconnect them to facilitate the use of modern technologies in education. To date the installation has consisted of new CAT5, Coax, and Fiber Optic cabling, telecommunications and video conferencing equipment, wireless networking equipment, and computer networking equipment of various types.
